Rakesh Roshan will shortly leaves for the US to formalize the international deal for Kites and accordingly fix the date for the film’s release. Though there has been speech that the movie will release in January 2010, the fact is that the producer has been biding time as he’s keen to have the Hindi and English release on the same date. Rakesh’s trip to Los Angeles is primarily to terminate the deal with Warner Bros. Kites is a mega project which will mark Hrithik’s entry into the international market so the Roshan’s are being extremely sure of everything. Kites was initially slated to release during Diwali. Later there was buzz that it would be December, then January 2010. But the fact is that the Roshan’s don’t mind waiting so that the international release coincides with the Hindi release. They are planning a lavish release all over the globe.
