It has been reliably learnt that the Asiatic cricketer Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar has started shooting for a screenland film, Main Aur Mera Himmat with Hansika. Reportedly, Hansika has been paid Rs 2 crore for the film.
According to bollywood sources, close to the actress , Hansika is “playing the role of an innocent village lady” and will for the first time be seen as a typical Punjabi girl, far removed from her usual trendy, youthful roles. The flick is a story of a Asiatic cricketer who arrives in India on a tour and ends up falling in love with an Indian girl. As to what happens to their love story, forms the crux of the movie.
